Nose: bright spirit, light fruit, soft peat
Taste: long development, citrus, cereal, peat
Finish: long, tapered, bitter oak, soft smoke
Nose: refreshing, slightly peaty, ashey
Taste: peat! slightly sweet
Finish: woody
Balance: well balanced for a light peaty
Nose: band aids
Taste: nice, tingly, peaty
Finish: long, smooth
Balance: excellent
Nose: sweet, not as peaty on the nose as I expected, quite rosey and nice
Taste: nice and smooth, reminiscent of the supernova, not as peaty as expected... again
Finish: smokiness lingers in a nice way. A little short.
Balance: another bizarre peaty Ardbeg that I actually quite like. Same "recipe" as Supernova?
Nose: delectable hit of the parent cask (port?), little hint of the peat I know is to follow
Taste: round and integrated, lovely floral notes to keep the peat aloft
Finish: pepper, peat, but no baroque curlicues, a down spot in a lovely dram
Balance: wow, very nice, steep falloff does not compromise the goodness
Nose: sibtle, not too big, cedar wood, moss
Taste: black licorice, not as complex as the Galileo
Finish: spicy, smooth, lingering, reminds me of camping under the stars!
Balance: smoky and complex! I liked the Galileo a bit more
Nose: leather, alcohol, peat
Taste: campfire in my mouth! Warm, peaty
Finish: lingering peat
Balance: balanced, nice, but not sure if I would buy a bottle
Nose: a little woody with a tang
Taste: resoundingly peaty, it creeps up your nose in a surprising way
Finish: I like the finish, after the peaty initial assault it's smooth
Balance: all in all ok, finishes better than it starts (IMHO)
Nose: banana, tobacco, moss
Taste: peat
Finish: strong, sweetish
Balance: slightly unbalanced from start to finish
Nose: leather, fall leaves burning
Taste: good
Finish: smooth
Balance: I did
Nose: earthy, anti-septic
Taste: a multi-layered(?) explosion, caramel sherry
Finish: lovely buildup of peat over the tongue
Balance: a lovely dram, sherry, swamp and (?)
Nose: faint earthy smell, fresh cut wood
Taste: very smooth, the peaty taste builds up slowly
Finish: very smooth finish, earth taste last very long
Balance: it is a very gently smooth whisky, very down to earth, it's very lovely
drinking it I wish it were cold outside and that there was a fire place :)
Nose: lots going on
Taste: ah yeah, totally what I wanted, a punch in the tongue
Finish: a nice bit of smoke and spice
Balance: good
Nose: sea salt, vanilla, fresh clean wood, vegetal
Taste: coals, fire, moss, dry iodine, slight sweetness
Finish: long heat, settled peat, burnt grass, dried out mud, char
Balance: extremely well balanced, peaty char, citrus, vanilla, hard to describe
Nose: peat makes it good
Taste: spice, peat, sherry, excellent!!!
Finish: strong, yes
Balance: not the best but each part is wow
Nose: smoke, bubblegum, band-aids
Taste: nice but simple
Finish: cinnamon? interesting finish...
Balance: good, not spectacular
Nose: mint and licorice, leaves and smoke
Taste: so good, warm and wonderful
Finish: burnt orange, the warmth stays around a long time
