Nose: sherry, brown sugar, light peat, light orange, everygreen
Taste: awesome! Better after breathing for 20 minutes
Finish: short, wish it were here
Balance: just wish there was more on the finish!
Nose: oaky with spice hints, alcohol and some sweetness, anticipate taste
Taste: smooth with a nice bite, warm caramel and burnt oak, soft lead to the finish
Balance: burns around the tongue, rollercoaster finish lasts, take another sip
Balance: balance grows with time, rating while drunk is quite hard, just enjoy the drink
Nose: sweet, a hint of a cherry thing going, quit lovely
Taste: the nodes(?) smokiness but not too strong or peaty that I really like. A little sweat
Finish: goes away a tad fast, especially since I enjoy it so much, but still nice and smooth
Balance: I really liked this one a lot, balanced well
Nose:
liltingly faint spice
what's caramel in spanish
dulce de leche
Taste:
warm, round, powerful
when I become a rocket
this shall be my fuel
Finish:
thick-cut marmalade
and obscure fruity cordials
dance a pas-de-deux
Balance:
refined with flourish
alchemical in nature
total shit it ain't
Nose: sour butterscotch with a hint of smoky bourbon
Taste: super, medium body, but unctuous, complex
Finish: nice finish, leaves a warm and nutty flavor, hazelnut?
Balance: yummy all-around, excellent balance
Nose: molasses
Taste: caramel, fruits
Finish: rather brief - just hits the front 2/3 of my tongue and stops
Balance: well executed but not quite my tastes
Nose: astringent, apple sherry obviously, dusty like the Sonnalta, reaches up your nose and tries to claw your brain out
Taste: oddly enough cola notes, sparkly, like a pack of cats in a sack, fights you as you enjoy it
Finish: builds and builds as the cats all fall asleep and purr somewhere deep in your throat, warm
Balance: overall odd. Oddly awesome!
Nose: nild, constrained, wrinkly winter apple, old dusty air, memories of honey and sherry
Taste: astringent, old books
Finish: just a tad too short but lovely. Doesn't extend into throat; builds slowly
Balance: water helps the nose, really opens up the palate but doesn't extend the finish much.
Nose: very strong, sharp, then opens to fruity notes
Taste: super tangy, tingles around the mouth, some fruit notes, a littly nutty
Finish: fills the mouth, tingles then dips to gentle warmth
Balance: it's boldness covers a few subtleties but works pretty well
