The company, based in Stans in the canton of Nidwalden and with production facilities in Langenthal and Aarwangen in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, is revolutionizing the world of single malt. Our single malts are the result of centuries-old distillation art combined with the latest technology. In addition to our locations in Switzerland, we also have interests in distilleries in Ireland and Canada and now offer our single malts on four continents.

While the age of a single malt was traditionally considered a quality indicator, at Seven Seals we have recognized that the maturation process and the completeness of its results are more important. Our unique, globally patented method shortens this process without compromising on quality. By simply using physical relationships, we accelerate the purely natural transfer of aromas between wood and spirit in close accordance with the classic methods, resulting in more delicate and flavorful single malts.

Our single malts are recognized worldwide and have won numerous awards in the most important blind tasting competitions because they combine the best of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Convince yourself of the quality and unique taste of our innovative single malts.

The growing demand for whisky and the limited availability of oak barrels are not only putting a strain on the quality of the products, but also on the environment. Instead of blocking barrels for maturation for decades, our process offers a sustainable alternative that optimizes the use of scarce resources. By shortening the maturation process, oak barrels can be reused more quickly, which helps to conserve resources and make production more sustainable, as does the fact that we can work with the blends from barrel production or even with the wood from chipped, used barrels. In addition, huge warehouses are not needed, "angels' share" is largely eliminated, and the capital tied up in distillates does not have to be tied up for decades. Our technology facilitates the market entry of young companies that can offer a differentiated range of perfectly matured products after a much shorter time.
